Vertcoin Price is a free website that allows users to access a summary of Vertcoin’s current price, historical price charts and relevant information for a number of fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies.
Vertcoin prices update every 1 minute and are collected from a number of sources depending on the availability of Vertcoin being listed on that exchange and the currency or cryptocurrency it’s paired with.
The website was designed in graphic format first in Photoshop and once approved by the client we converted it into a custom WordPress theme. We used bootstrap to create the responsive design to ensure the website is mobile friendly.
We used the CryptoCompare API to update cryptocurrency prices and used HighCharts.js to create the cryptocurrency price charts on the website. We developed a single cryptocurrency post type template that had a number of settings from Advanced Custom Fields that allowed the client to create unlimited price comparison pages on the fly without any additional development.
